Put your crawlers in some spagnum moss. I should be available at most pet shops. It keeps the crawlers pretty clean, doesn't make a big mess in the boat, and you can just throw the can of worms back into the fridge without transferring them. Just keep the moss a bit damp and they will keep for weeks!
