  1. My son in law was new in town and I told him we need to go ' bottom bouncing in front of the windmills' and he said , whats that, and I said its a Buffalo thing like Dingus Day. That go em thinking.
  2. Sounds a lot more pleasant than bucking the chop last night and going 3 for 5. Think the shallow night fishing is about done; water temp close to sixty.
  3. I heard there was a way to catch em in the day in May at the 25 tp 30 ft level but never had much luck, now I got some confidence to go give it a try again. Thanks. Paper says slime starting to show up in lower river, bar area so night fishing window gonna close soon, nice to have a good second option after the slime and until they get in their summer pattern.
  4. Went out Monday night off hamburg and got nine, one six pounder! More fish toward hamburg launch end for us and we caught most of them between 11 and 1. Standard old black and silver rapalas, were the main ticket in 10-12 ft with a big split shot to take em down a bit. had a lot of hits with many misses.
  5. thats more like it! Thanks for the report, nice nights catch there. Gonna have to flip the clock again and get out there soon.
  6. Night walleye fishing last night, not a bump for three hours. Have I lost my touch? quit at midnight as did many others, not a good sign. Has anyone been getting em in the Buffalo end? Fished inside wall and caught two 4 lb bass on jigs, expected that to be better as well. Whats up, too early?
  7. fished the line today 60 to 63ft and worked hard for three hours to catch five fish, nothing big, Came into 50ft and pounded em, schoolies again but much better screen, 9 fish in an hour w a couple of legal throwbacks, all on harnesses .
  8. the border-line is that what you call the fence?
  9. banged em as well, got a feeling that is a common theme for a lot of those zillion boats out there...we are gonna get spoiled by this good a fishin
  10. caught 12 in two hours, half in four pound range, dipsy and worm harness, bright colors today took most. Lots of boats, found a tight school off pack and hit a couple of triples (using just three rods), 48 ft half way to line out of south gap.
