We tried them. Real worms won, but we did get one on them. You can also put the worms in a cup of water right before you put them on. We dumped the worms twice last trip!!

Fished barcelona tonight. Only 3 takers, screen looked nice several times. 85fow was best. She was also rolling a bit more than I prefer.

Seagauer 15 lbs fluorocarbon, or Berkeley Vanish fluorocarbon has worked well.

I don't use them and never had any problems. The 10 to 12ft leader gives enough stretch in my opinion. Plus there are so many small fish, the snubber might make it even harder to trip the dipsy.

Not many people target steelhead that I know of on lake erie. Except in the fall when they make the move closer to shore.

Yes, next year should be great,,,but these 14 inch fish are kicking are butts. We also trew back over 15 east of barcelona. All different depths. Best fish was an 8 lb 59fow...on a 5 color clean
