I also try to get as much overtime as I can so that I can get some new equipment just before spring, it seams to work well for me, this year I was able to get a new set of tolora trolling rods and reels, some new downrigger balls and a fish hawk x4, still have a few things on my wish list but overtime has dried up for now. 

Fishing shows are about the only thing that gets me through the winter months here. 

Any opinions?

Took a seminar over the weekend taught by Mark Romanak. Found out if you put your crawlers in ice water they will swell up and get bigger. Helps keep you boat clean. You throw them out at the end of the fah

I tied up a harness that I call the ( Get R Done ) I will gladly send a pic to your phone if my harness holder isn't sealed up in the boat its basically brown beads with one red bead and a gold blade

well folks here is what i have so far. i have my reels, 2 planer boards, one #1 dipsy, tracks and dipsy rod holders. dipsy rods. 2 penn downriggers. What else do i need to just get started? any colors of harnesses that are a must? Thanks for all the help!!

Here is my dilemma. I have a lowrance hds7. Wrecked my old boat and lost the side and down imaging set up. Thankfully the good part was in my truck. What about adding a hummingbird unit with down imaging next to it? Don't have the funds to replace the stuff on my lowrance
