Tough day out of the Catt today, only boated 2 keepers. Fished all depths between 60- 80 ft . Had friends in 2 other boats ,one got skunked the other boat picked up 1 walleye, thermocline set up @ 42’ . Temps below ranged from 48- 57 degrees, tried to target the fish fish we were marking @ around 50’ , lock jaw! Hopefully the lake will stabilize after a few days of southerly breezes forecast for the next few days!

Fished out of cat today same results as others that were deep fished 75-85 fow 3 fish between 50-60 ,thermocline at 62. 48 degree water on bottom. Guy at launch had limit fished 62 fow. Light bulb went off but to late will remember next time. Had a nice day on water , gain some insight and couple dinners. Prefect

Me too, i've always thought the riggers would work well for walleye in erie. How  does the release work with the leadcore. 

Correct. I always run a 2 color and a 3 color on the riggers and park both balls about 15 feet above my target depth. Very effective even in shallow (30 to 35 feet).

I was drifting ,using the jigging method. Round jighead with plastic or live bait.

Another weekend...still slow lol...fished Friday sat and Sunday 3-4 hours each day. Did 7 total fish. Only thing the same was worm harnesses. Other than that no rhyme no reason...explored 20 fow -105 fow...marking them but idk wouldn't bite mine lol. Still a great weekend.

Saturday was the first time me and the boy went out ourselves...its alot of boat to handle at the dock just me and him but we did well.

Shout out to the older guy who scooped my planer board behind me when I lost it. Met him at dock good guy!

I’m with you stoneam2006 they are subsidized mainly overseas companies putting. So our tax dollars go the foreign entities doesn’t make sense unless you are the one profiting

Yep been running the same program. I'm planning to take a couple guys out tomorrow all day it'd be sweet if someone was able to give me a wave report sometime tonight I just have a hard time believing that darn forecast 325 one day and then one foot or less the next morning.. actually saying one foot or less tonight

Fished out of the Catt today, started out in 85-90’ , picked up a couple then worked in to 75 fow straight out from the windmill, finished with a two man limit, worked a good sized school . Dipsy’s and riggers, with harnesses, pink and fire tiger blades did most of the work !

Fished 7-12 today had double on within 5 minutes lost one at boat ended day with 8 in box lost the one at boat and one on 8 color half way in. Fished 80-90 fow down 50-70 all sticks 10 color with wonder bread big winner speed 2.2-2.6.

That's what confuses me I put a two-color then a five color and the Seven color leadcore out with a spoon that we've been having success on and nothing. Couldn't get them to pop the down deep ones were no problem. That's why I'm not sure if they were wise but they had the density of a bigger fish

Did real good today out of the cat and yesterday. Bite it was a little slower today. Did real good on little scorpion spoons bayrat spoons and little warrior spoons 10 color LED core was are best. Anybody have any idea what we kept marking 20ft down I was thinking they were silver bass but they were showing up much bigger on the graph

Went west of cat today had 2 man limit 2 hrs 8 and 10 color caught 10 sticks wonder bread and northern lights big winner. 75 to 90 fow down 45-60

report 8-8-20 fished 90-107 fow didnt mark much of anything fished 9-1:00 little east then a little west 1steelhead 7 color one walleye 40 ft rigger hit spoon.all the reports said go to dunkirk but we couldnt find them its been a tuff year for me.we talked to a guy at the launch trolled from the catt to barcelona got 4 eyes fishing is just not like it was last year.still nice to get out but more action wouldnt hurt my feelings at all.
