  1. Anyone have any luck targeting steelhead of late. I know some have been picked a few up incidentally fishing for walleye over the past couple weeks. I'd like to get my little guy out to try his hand at some silver bullets. Any guidance helps. Thanks guys. Tight lines!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  2. Thanks, talk to you then. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  3. Only two boats out with us today the Lund and another white one which appeared to be a walk around. I suppose that was you. I was surprised to see so little traffic. I suppose most were out chasing horns. Had plenty of hooks today but nothing like the last few weeks. Perhaps the last time out for us. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  4. Got 10, but we worked for them. Seamaster, were you in the Lund off of the Catt? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  5. As have I. Was kind a ridiculous seeing fish continually on the screens all day long. A bit spoiled we were this year, I think. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  6. Thank you Musky! I was hoping they didn't scatter too much or worse yet, depart for for Ohio. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  7. Nope. Was bringing 80y/o neighbor along. Thought best not to soak him. Gonna give it a whirl tomorrow. Hope the heck we can still find them off of the Catt. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  8. Thanks bud. Sticks deep or up a bit in the column? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  9. Going to head out tomorrow. Has been a bit quiet here lately. I hope that is not too indicative of the bite. Any luck out there this week boys? I'll post results tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  10. Nice work Ten Percent. Just curious how you manage 20' leads off the dipsy's. 20' handle on your landing net?? Hand lining them? I would love to use a bit longer lead but am limited to 8' or so due to space constraints. Tight lines.... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  11. Full freezers indeed. I almost feel like I know what I'm doing. Honestly if it weren't for this forum I would probably be struggling. Thanks everyone to the tips and reports. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  12. Nice work yellow. Boxed out with a 3 man limit by noon then goosed her up a bit for some steelies and blanked. Beautiful day though. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  13. Ten Percent, i am not sure how seasoned I am but this is my opinion none the less. I am not of the mindset that you need to spend a ton of money on trolling gear. Sure I have overspent on my favorite spinning, baitcasting or mooching setups, YES! Don't tell my wife. I have gotten by very nicely on Okuma Convectors. They are reasonably priced with some nice deals eBay or Amazon. I have put them through a lot and the just keep ticking. They are smooth with decent drags and the line counters on more than the dozen I have are still operational after 5-10 years of use(abuse). I use them for everything from leadcore, dispy, to braid for bottom bouncing. Sure I would like a while battery of Tekotas or better, I just don't see the need as a recreational angler. Perhaps my opinion would change if I was running a charter service. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  14. I hear you garrymny. Was out this Monday and marked what seemed liked thousands. Same today but I ran a little different program and smoked them. Got our limit in 1.5hrs. Alewife spoons with meat on dipsy 200 hundred back did 90% of the work for us. Couldn't keep the dipsy's in the water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  15. Fished 9-1 today off the Catt. Marked hundreds of fish in 80 fow. Boated only 4, 17-19". Had a hell of time keeping crawlers on the harnesses as the perch kept slurping them. Plenty of boats around most of them seemed a little slow too. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  16. Fished 8-12 today off the Catt in 80-85. Marked a bunch and took ten nice eaters Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  17. I've been using Michigan Stingers and swapping out the treble for a couple snelled hooks with beads. They have a rainbow trout pattern that has been working well for me. Spoons have been slow for me until I started swapping and hanging meat. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  18. 70-80 fow off the Catt was hot today. Bottom bounced Watermelon harnesses and spoons off the dipseys got us a limit in about 2 hours. Biggest was 26". One dink and no sheephead. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  19. Lineman, What was your program for the lakers? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  20. Did alright out of SP. A few nice eaters. Cooper harness and pink stick did all the work. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  21. Son winched in this nice slob. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  22. Was out on Monday Seamaster from SP. Have been doing pretty well a mile to a mile and a half from the fence off evangola in 70-75fow. for the past couple weeks. Marked a bunch from 55-65fow. Pink rats have been doing the most work, however when it clouded up on Monday I switched silver and blue shallow divers on 10 color and they picked up a bit. I took 8 nice eaters on Monday. Probably could of done better if I ran some meat but didn't feel like dealing with the mess. I hear they are still down my well out of Dunkirk too. Hope this helps. Good Fishing!! 23. Damn you, those lakers look like they were a blast. What did you get them on. Good fight? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  24. Works well. Nice stream of water to keep it clean. Just need fish to keep on it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  25. Not a bad take today for me and jr. 70-75 fow straight out of SP, close to the fence. Got em on a mix spoons, rats and harnesses. Got most 20' off bottom. Pink was hot for us today. Gosh, days like this helps your back to forget pounding delivered by erie this year. Tight lines... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
