Curious are you fishing lake Erie or Lake Ontario?

The only point breeze I know is on Lake Ontario.

We add a hook to the snap where the sinker is so the hook lays on the bottom

Another pot of Erie. Gold. Love spring perching yellow pike and I lucked in some more. Tricky bite grabbed some chose p.m. bite. Mud hook again produced 90 percent of fish. Flat conditions and not a slinkers in sight
