lineman49,The NY State Parks Dept Engineer's designed the Launch Ramp. They never would take any recommendations from the Safe Boat Harbor or from us on the E.C.F.A.B.,they just went ahead and built what they had in their plan. The biggest problem of all for them will be No Handicap Access!
Used the new launch tonight. There was a lot of confusion trying to figure out if pads were designated for launch or retrieval. There are no signs clarifying anything. Also, my girlfriend has a bad back. There is no way that she can get into the boat. The Americans with Disabilities Act most certainly has been overlooked.
