20 ft if water all the perch you wanted. Had to weed thru them. Lot of dink’s. Kepted 1 out of five. The ones in the box were 9 to 12 inches

Anyone having any luck on perch out of sturgeon point

Well I was back out yesterday 9/18 out of Sturgeon Point. Checked all of the usual forecast sites before making the trek from Rochester. Consensus from my homework was that it was going to be 2 feet waves or less and 5 to 15 mph or less. Wind was out of SW when we got going at 11:30 am. Turned out to be quite a bumpy trip to say the least. Waves were at least 4 feet by 3:30 pm and no sign of slowing down. Made last drift and headed back in to Terra Firma (firm ground!!). Ended up with 8 walleye from 16 to 20 inches. Fished in 55 to 65 fow to the west. Decent numbers still there. Hope the front coming this Friday and Saturday does not scatter them or send them west to Ohio?

Totally agree. There's a few asshats on this site. Not like this on any of lake Ontario website. We are willing and happy to share any information that would help a visitor or newby catch fish.

Very slow morning east of Sturgeon 50-63 fow only had 2 by noon , picked up 7 more by 2:30 , finished with 9 caught most near the line 60-63 fow. Dipeys 160 back downrigger 50 ft all worms nothing on sticks black / pink and hot tiger were best. Anybody do any good off the windmills ?

We're you marking fish and putting it in their zone? Did you change bait and speed?

Took three today.60 to 70 fow. 1 on a five color, 1 45 down off the rigger and 1 on a ten color. Fished west to the catt. What was I doing wrong

Is the boat launch at sturgeon Point open?

Any walleye being caught out of Westfield during the day light hours

Take a trip down to Fish USA. Great guys they're nice guys wish I lived closer. Daiwa great lakes models . I personally prefer ugly sticks

Where is the next closest launch ? I trailer in from Geneseo
