  1. You can buy one day, 3 day also on that site. I think your good if you buy it on your phone. But I think they require you to carry a paper copy. Guess your going to have to install another piece of electronics on your boat. A printer. Lol.

    Wow. I haven't been out to the islands since the fall. I am from Buffalo, NY area and love fishing over by you.

  2. They have recently changed to Canadian laws about reporting your entry into all Canadian waters. You still need to call even if you are not touching land. If caught in these waters Canadian law enforcement has jurisdiction and the ability to impound all vessels and equipment. It will take years and lots of cash to retrieve these items once seized. Here is the the phone number to call in. 1 (888) 226-7277. We do this every time we cross the lake. We shut down and call as we cross the line. Follow the instructions and have your boat registration and ID's for all on board ready. Answer all their questions and convey your plans of where you are fishing and for how long. They will give you a number to write down so gave a pen ready. This number will be needed to prove that you have registered your entry to any local law enforcement that my ask.
