I have caught a lot of hybrids down here in OK. Erie has white bass already and that is half of a hybrid striper. Do white bass eat lampreys? Just wondering.

I think it would nice if the marinas put in cleaning stations like I saw in South Dakota to clean your fish. They had water and a grinder built in to get rid of of the fish carcasses that led into a septic tank that they cleaned out when it got full. Is there any like that on Lake Erie?

If they could get all the different game and fish departments in all the states and countries to agree it would be a miracle. They won't do it because as far as I know they would be considered a invasive species.

I have lived and fished in the Dakotas. Fished on Lake Oathe north of Mobridge SD good fishing but not to the caliber of Lake Erie. Garrymny should be happy to have a lake to catch big walleye in and stop bad mouthing a great fishery and a top notch group of guys that are more then happy to share info.

We used to catch several walleye each year in the 1980's out of Northeast marina. Most still had the lamprey still attached

In the late 80's my dad used them a lot caught a ton of fish on them. I still have a couple of them from back then that I use in OKLAHOMA on hybrid stripers. They do decent but not like they did on walleye back then.

I live in Ok right now but will back to my hometown in PA very soon. Have not fished Erie in close to 20 years and hope I can pick it up again quickly.
