Tiger Lilies are in bloom, walleyes have dropped from surface suspension to bottom in water from 41 to 58 foot and more. Best action on down riggers and worm harnesses near the bottom.

How do the Walleye know the tiger Lillie’s bloomed?

The walleye don't know but old time fishermen know. Jimski is spot on with this. It's just an old time fishing belief. I can tell you that is pretty reliable.  Modern electronics have taken a lot of the guess work out of it.

With the warmer water the walleyes are migrating west of Sturgeon Point. We were off Point Breeze where the screen was full of fish top to bottom.

Eventually the thermocline will be west of Silver Creek.

How about the shallows, 16 to 22 ft of water on the lake. Many walleye
Limited out the last three times out. Nothing big
8 to 21 inches, but many
