Also that same day we will be holding an in-person sign-up event at the STWA clubhouse located at 5895 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg, NY 14075 from 2-5pm. Don’t forget that we have our General Membership meeting before the Derby this month on Thursday, June 9th where you can sign-up and we will have the doors open on Friday June 10th the last day before the Derby from 12-5pm as well.

I would like to fish it, but your entry fee is too high and not worth it

  2. Walleye spawning must be fishing, a two week wait for them to turn on n midwaters. Soon it will happen for side planers and stick baits or worm harnesses.

What’s wrong with it right now?Walleye bite is on!!!! Need to be in the right spot and the correct presentation

  3. Keeping plenty of bait around holds the perch schools near your boat. Groups of boats produce better catches than single boats fishing alone. If you see a boat catching perch, hang nearby and all boats will produce together.

Sure !!!Throw an anchor right next to the boat, so that they can’t fish without snagging your anchor rope

  4. Kinzua walleye are Ohio River strain fish which grow larger than Great Lakes strain walleyes. That is why the New York State walleye record walleyes are from. The Ontario record walleye was caught in Thompson's Hole of the Niagara River by a shore fisherman. It was over 22 pounds and the catch was monitored by many observers. this was over eighty years ago though.

That record I believe is it n questio

  5. With ice the perch can be cleaned safely the next day. Live wells especially during the warm water periods are like cooking your fish in soup.

I’ve been fishing for over 70 yr, I know how to handle fish. The fish were taken out of live well and placed in two coolers with ice. The majority of those perch were still alive. I bleed my walleye using my live well until their bled out and placed on ice. Have a great day

  6. Well if we can not launch anywhere, we can eat lobster. With all the restaurant closures the price of lobster has fallen from $8/$10 a pound to two dollars a pound. Scallops are busting at the seams of cold storage facilities. Thank Albany we were let to get some perch for a while that we clean and eat at home. But Albany screwed us out of them now.

The state launches are open. Their just now advertising it. Bill Hilts mentioned it on face book. The Ramps will be free. All marinas will be closed.
On the town Ramps, it’s up to the towns whether to open or not. You will need to talk to the town to see if they will open it
