This is a rock solid performer on Lake Erie, always got us home safely from chasing Walleyes. We are upgrading to a larger boat or we would be fishing it for the next several years. I have taken very good care of this boat, I purchased it used in fall of 2014. Boat is in water now ready for a viewing, going into storage soon.

Same here, we were going to go today, but Dunkirk Buoy and Marine Zone forecast looks sketchy for today, going to hope Saturday is good and it settles down overnight tonight.

Do something different. The walleyes have changed their places now with the record water temperatures.
Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
Exactly, that’s why its called fishing and not catching. Need to change it up with this record heat.

Hope so!

Is this still for sale?

Nice morning out of the catt. Looks like nobody wants to put their boats away just yet ..best walleye bite I've seen in the 32 years I have been fishing Erie ..ya they aren't all slobs but there are lots of different age class fish and that is a good thing..might have to postpone the first couple weeks of bow season
Yup we did real well too, boxed out both days, if it stays this warm who wants to sit in the stand, the deer will be bedding down all day anyhow till it cools off more, so I will be waiting until after the 15th to get in the woods. Just going to keep on checking the trail cams and target shooting. Might as well keep enjoying the fishing in the meantime!

2 man limit straight out off the Catt, wind was out of the SE later swinging around out of the NE. Best area was between 78-84 fow. Sticks were not working for us, all fish caught on harnesses. Fish were suspended between 50-60', did not see much on the bottom. Riggers caught 2/3 of the fish, dipsys on 2 setting at 90 took a couple. Lots of boats in the area, surprised there are not more reports. With that being said, I did talk to another fisherman at the marina who said he limited also.
Thanks for the report, we will be getting out Friday and Saturday, glad the fish have not moved too much.

Exactly ...thats all it is, no big deal.

Yes they know it should say yellow, its irrelevant though, the big picture is lets protect what fish we do have or we will end up with a dead fishery just like the blue pike. I encourage anyone that is free to get to this meeting if you can!

Not sure if the wind and waves will make too much of a difference with the walleyes being so deep and that there are so many walleyes in the eastern basin right now...we went to Dunkirk Monday for a change of scenery and the screen was loaded there ..quick double limit running harnesses 60 feet down to the bottom in 77-86 f o w and yesterday we launched at the catt with same results..lots of bait balls in both spots and many of the fish we boated were barfing up small bait fish..looked like emerald shiners and a few shad mixed in ..D E C was at Dunkirk Monday asking the usual questions..how many..how big..how long did you fish..did you release anything and the DEC guy said it's been the best walleye bite in over 25 years..I thought last year was pretty good too and he said this year was way better.
The bite has been good I think the weather this year was windier compared to last year keeping more people on shore, just the way it has seemed to me, although I have to work all week and can only fish weekends for the most part and possibly it has been just the weekends that have pretty much sucked crap all summer. A few days I took off work were solely based on lack of wind to at least get out and fish some calm days during tbe week. Let us hope this continued fishery successs lasts. If wind turbines get placed in the lake we are all screwed over for fishing, pollution in our drinking water and no boating zones.

Nice morning ..went west out of the catt and set up in 74 feet to around 83 f o w when we finished up ..good screen the whole time
Port Colbourne buoy you have to double the wave height.

Joe I have the Windy App. I didn't check what it said for yesterday, Everytime I use it there are 3 banners for my saved spits and only one is visible, the other two are always hidden behind the first.

Fished this morning for 3 and half hours, ended with our limit. Mix of sticks and harnesses. Sticks out fished harnesses. Dipsey, riggers and 10 colors. We were just a bit west in 75 to 80 fow. All the fish we caught were 60’ down. Most all of the fish we marked were the same, 60’ down. Nice weather, calm lake and good fishing. Lake was starting to build when we finished up around 1230 or so.

Same here, the wife and I boxed out as well, but caught most of ours on Dipsey and Harnesses, less on sticks and 10 colors, same depth though, guess it depends on the pods of fish we are on as to their food preference. Nice conditions for sure today out there, very enjoyable for the 4 hours we were out.

Also we use the bells and also set your clacker on your reel to the on position and set your drag just light enough to not pull the line off the spool like a single click you might hear when waves pull your dipsey and you know its set right, when a fish hits thats light it will ring the bell and also you will start to hear it clicking indicating you have weight that is more than when you started pulling your diver, that equals a fish on the line.

In Wyoming county there are hundreds of these eye sores and it seems the only people who benefit are the land owners whos property they are on, no tax breaks or lower electric cost here! Cuomo sucks!!!
Its all a scam, if it were not for big money from uncle sam subsidizing this nonsense companies would not be bothering. All lies, industrial wind turbines are not green except for the cash being taken from the taxpayers and rate payers when your electric bill has a 500% increase, yes thats right I said 500% increase in your bill. We have to stop this insanity. oh and lets stir up the sediment and pollute the drinking water of 11 million people too while we are at it, thats environmentally sound. Morons every last one, we need to stop them now!

Wanted to go out tomorrow as well, saw the wind picking up tonight and 2ft means 4ft usually. My boat can take it, my fishing partner (wife) can't. (She just called me an A hole.) Sunday looks good now, but yesterday Fri looked good. Changes quick.

One foot or less on the windy app and on the NOAA zone forecast.

Whatever the port colborne buoy shows for wave height double it for accuracy. The better one that is accurate off Dunkirk is https://glbuoys.glos.us/ESF3

I took off for North Chautauqua Conservation Club Tourney, but could not break 6 lb size out if all those eyes!
Sent from my SM-G960U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
We had the same issue, we hauled in over 50 eyes and couldn’t come up with a good weigher for the derby. The few bigger fish were 4 pounds, the bulk were 2 to 3 pound eaters. Still was a blast hooking up with triples and quads each morning, limited out first few hours, couldn’t keep em off! I love the late summer bite!
