Just bought a new to me boat too

I haven't not been on the water at least 1 day over weekend since April guess it was a good run

Me and kid took new boat out Sunday last week after sat blow and jigged up a couple with our spinning gear lol hopefully be ready to troll when I get back

New boat with the old boat behind it...I do miss her lol

Looked for some walleye this weekend caught a few. Marked them all over out thwre but couldn't find many wanting to eat.

Figured I'd start report for NE...been out a few weeks now adid an early trip for browns on lake Ontario (pics). Also did a trip outta Catt with a good friend.

 

Only been outta NE for Lakers...been heck of a good time so far. We were using gambler rigs behind cowbells In 70-100 fow on bottom

Twelve year old children do not need to be in the deer hunting woods with high powered rifles and shotgun slugs flying round. A better place is in the classrooms.

As someone who teaches hunter safety Ed I believe your 100% wrong. Firearm safety is taught to late. We should be teaching this from the time they start school. No different than teaching them not to play with the wall sockets...it should also be taught in public schools buy a school resource officer. Knowledge is what will stop the accidents and hopefully would help curve gun crimes with kids.

Gun safety should not be an add on...it should be a life skill that every American knows.

Not lake related but spent 4 days in adks hunting and fishing....didn't do well in either lol lost a few small brookies had a buck bust us sat am...beautiful weekend up north tho.

Dropped the boat off the mechanics on way up for winter shrink and storage...sad night lol

Well last trip of season latest I've ever been fishing....loose rope caught the cleat on dock snapped base of tree....no one hurt easy fix luckily....didn't get skunked picked up a smallmouth trolling creek mouth. Great season back to the trees

Archery opened here in my units on Sept 18th. Got my first doe on the 25th. Now I wait for the rut! v Good Luck hunting!

Nice ours opened the 1st of oct...been out 2 times could have shot a doe but let her walk. Trying to get ready for prime time too make sure he's efficient getting up before we gotta do it in the dark lol

Fishing has been slow in creeks unless you really knew what you were doing....and I do not ....but hunting season is here too got my 11 yr old up in climber for first practice sit tonight....so crunchy!

Fished sat am 630-11 trolled infront of the mouths...blank screen and nothing going on...Sunday we fished in the creeks good time again still trying to tune our set ups. Hoping to fish a few more weeks

There were still marks (not as many as a few weeks ago though) 55-65' down over 70-85FOW.  Been a lot of fronts coming through lately - weather and lake need to settle down for a few days.

Spent sat in Presque isle on yaks...lake wouldn't let us fish lol...not much going on there but the wind messed our plans pretty good. Still fun. We also messed around in the creeks at sunrise both days....that was fun but we got alot to learn there lol.
