  4. Help! We’ve tried out of Buffalo and the Catt. Only got 2 walleyes. Tried lures, worm harnesses, down riggers, planer boards, all the bells and whistles. Tried 40 to 70 feet. Any suggestions? Thank you!
  5. Fished the line 50-65ft 6:15am-1:15pm. Slowly.picked up (7) 18"-22" till 10:0am then it was dead till noon. Got (4) more between noon-1:15pm including a nice 7lb & 5lb fish Best depth was 50-55fft. All harness bite. 7-10 leadcore and riggers at 40ft and 5ft from bottom worked best.

  7. Gobee Golight       I have the above. I use it when travelling at night, it will light up a marker buoy from a considerable distance. I once came across a couple of teenagers making out in a paddle boat. They assumed no one would see them if they went out a couple of hundred feet in the river after midnight. Had I not had this light, I may have run them over. This light remotely scans up and down and can be turned to light up the boat's interior.
  8. Thanks for the report...good luck out there !!
  9. What a difference a day makes. Temp was 3-4 deg warmer today than yesterday and the bait and fish scattered. Took a while to get my limit. Sticks and harnesses. 55’ down on the riggers, and 7 color on the lead. Fished west of Van Buren point.

  15. I agree our walleye bite from now till October only gets better as it goes by. Our bite here should pick up any day and it is getting better daily...the fish are here stacked but gotta work for them. Guys are catching limits but it's full day's work for most. This fish will also move deeper as water warms not uncommon to catch them 70-100 fow in August which is cool bc you can target Lakers while your thete too and have double the fun lol Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  16. You'll catch plenty of walleyes in September, but the problem becomes weather related as a flat lake can be difficult to come by...…. Dunkirk and Barcelona are better for me later in the season.
  17. Hope to get back up there towards the end of the month. 6 hour drive one way for me, so I like to see 4 or 5 days of good weather. Scheduled for 2 weeks in Ontario mid Sept. With the border situation, that doesn't look good. How's the walleye bite in Sept? Might have to do my 2 weeks there.
  18. Been fishing last few days pretty slow. Fished 30-60' looking for a better bite...best bite I found was 1.5-1.8 mph at the ball...I have a hard time getting that slow but when I could find a direction that helped me get there my bite picked up alot.. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Try to 75 foot even. Perch school up to ten foot deep out there when the lake is cooked up. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

  22. Here's a question for you guys, when night fishing Erie, what if any lighting do you use on your boat besides the standard nautical navigation lights?
  23. Thanks, Fyshon. I'm going to try again tomorrow. Was going to try Myers Reef but may change my strategy based on what Justfishin stated.
