  6. I had a bomber with a 3 pounder flopping around on it buried into my calf last summer past the curve in the hook, tried pulling the hook, tried the doubled up line behind the hook to pop it out, after I invented several new swear words I taped the bomber to my calf and fished 3more hours until we limited out then drove to Warsaw hospital from the catt and they did the local and removed it. I told the wife the doc said I was lucky, an inch higher it would have got me in my manhood, she rolled her eyes and shook her head and said go back fishing!

  10. Selling my 2016 Lund Rebel XS WT. I am the second owner, bought 9/2016. Original owner purchased from Hannefin Marine 6/2016. - Motor is a 90hp Mercury 4 stroke with 153hrs per the SC1000 smartcraft tachometer. Tach displays digital readout of several functions as well as having troll control allowing motor idle control while trolling, works awesome. Motor oil and filter as well as lower case oil changed annually with Merc products. Non ethanol fuel only. Has Mercury platinum warranty until 6/2021 which should transfer to new owner for 75 bucks. - 24V Minn Kota powerdrive v2 on lockable quick release bracket. - Minn Kota 3 bank battery charger. - Traxstech rod holders mounted in bow of boat - Humminbird helix 5 graph - Cisco adjustable led light wired to push button. Not mounted currently as I had it on track. 2 older Cannon mag 10 downriggers with swivel bases on Bert's 8" mounts - Bimini top with front winshield. Zippers are sewn into top to add on side and rear curtains. - Factory Lund cover - Baystar hydraulic steering with the upgraded seastar hoses. Boat has 4 pedestal seats as well as the rear flip down seats/casting platform. I removed it because I mainly troll. Trailer is a 2016 Lund badged Shorelander with CE guide ons, but I have the original guide ons also. Also includes fire extinguisher, anchor and rope, first aid kit, bumpers, mooring lines, and some flotation devices. Boat is overall in good condition with some wear and dock rash. It is an excellent multi species fishing rig and has been used as such. Located in Conesus, NY. Asking $19500 or B/O. 585 519 9813........Brian
  11. I have a 22 ft Crestliner Eagle walk around cuddy that works well. Sometimes I wish I had the larger cabin like they built before the walk around style eagle. Walk around sure is great when docking. Cabin space is good enough for storing rods, net, cooler and tackle boxes and porta potty. Very small for sleeping but it works for 2 people max.
  12. there is a 1995 just like mine for sale on LOU for 8200. I believe. he says his will do 35 mph. I think he is stretching the truth a little.
  13. yes its true. top speed is 25 mph cruse speed is about 22 loaded up for fishing. I'm usually not in that big a hurry to get where I'm going anyway. it is a very stable platform to fish from, high sides. its stable enough to fish 4's and 5's. any more than that and its not fun anymore anyway. I have a 9.9 4-stroke kicker on mine, really nice for trolling. my wife and I stay rite on the boat when we go fishing for a long weekend. its really comfortable.
  14. Looking for some size 40 Tripz divers.
  15. Example from today's trip how 20lb leader can make a difference. Took a 20lb class lake trout on a slide diver with R&R Superlite spoon. We were targeting eyes and were fishing in 70 degree water. Client did a good job with fish even though he hadn't taken many fish on divers especially in this size. With a little heavier leader fish is landed (and released), client happy and I have all my gear so we keep fishing.
  16. I love those boats ... I heard they are underpowered... any truth to that? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  17. 2 man limit off the Catt, 56' of water. Threw back 5 shorts. All fish between 18-23". Riggers on the the bottom with harnesses. Dipsys on 2 setting 80' with sticks. Bottom 20' loaded with fish. A lot of boats were out deeper, maybe a half dozen fishing this area.
  18. 45 to 50 ft were marking a lot of fish just west of SP was about to get going and had a person on board get ill. Unforn. game over. A lot of guys limited out. will be back next week.
  19. I was out in the same water with similar results. Five colors with purple bombers were on fire and did most of the damage. Late start for us also, We trailered to the Catt only to see a angry lake- we drove back to buffalo and game on. 45-52’. Crazy screens!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  20. We had a guided trip Sunday with 2 boats. Limited out both boats 8 guys. Went out today with our boat and 3 of us limited again. Pretty good fishing. Stickbaits, harnesses and spoons all caught fish. Great fishing!

  22. Out of Catt this am towards Dunkirk....fished 2.5 hours, boxed 8. Fished 55-65, harnesses, 4 and 5 color. A bit choppy again today...despite what noaa says. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  23. Was out yesterday a bit choppy (not bad). Fished out in 70 foot, fish in top 35 feet for us. Didn't get out until 11am, but ended up with a half dozen in 2 and a half hours. Half fish on bay rats and half on harnesses. Also headed out to 100 to see what was there. Slime trout are there for the taking. Hope to start getting out a bit more now. Good Luck guys.
  24. i've been using seaguar 20# premier fluro for yrs now and it works great. 6' or 7' leaders is all I use for eyes on erie. I tried using longer leaders but my catch rate didnt improve. and the 12' leaders was more trouble than they were worth. I use 20# invisz fluro line on my riggers. probably could go lighter but you just never know when that trophy will hit. and it doesn't seem to bother the fish. may be just as well off with 10# or 12# mono on the riggers but I don't like playing the odds.
