Jim and I hit St Clair about two weeks ago. We put together a video we think you will like. It will give you a nice aerial view of the lake along with some nice smallmouth and muskie catches. Hope you enjoy.

Little late getting this up, but this video will probably help you locate bass on Lake St. Clair. It can be overwhelming if it's your first time fishing there, but there is a way to find those bass without traveling all over the lake. This video will show you some exact locations to catch them and tactics to use.

Fished all day Saturday on St. Clair River without a strike. It was the memorial Day Weekend and the cigar boats were out in force creating an uneasy situation on the water. I fished both US side and Canada and threw everything but the kitchen sink at them. Should mention they are getting good pickerel at night for the last couple weeks but the times have been varying depending on were you fish on the river. I've been told most have been jigging vibra tails different colors but white seems to be the favorite all round. I guess its better to sleep all day and fish all night ;-)

The ice is flowing down the river at real good pace now. Coast guard is working on navigational markers. Shad fish are in over abundance at Shell Canada and drawing in Sea Gulls and Bonapartes by the thousands who are feeding ferociously and riding the ice drifts. Watching for signs of pickerel and other fish starting but its slow yet! It will start soon with this mild weather coming. I will advise when it does.

	Hi guys -

Any recommendations on some places to stay (both US and Canadian side) on Lake St. Clair. Would be targeting mainly muskies in summer/fall timeframe.

	Thanks -

With all the rain and unsafe ice only fisherman I recomend air boats until good ice returns. Still catching nice perch at Mitchells Bay

Well everything is in full swing on the Bay at this time of year. With this mild weather things are little scarier for the next couple days. My friends have been using air boats to play safe and have been limiting out daily for the past month. Most have been medium size to large perch and in good numbers of each. With this rain and above freezing temp for the next couple days will be quiet.

Wow a real slow day today! Nothing wanted to bite but a small musky on worm harness! Caught a couple smallmouth bass a couple of days ago and today a couple of small perch and a big sheephead. No eyes at all! Tried worms, cranks, spoons and handtied flies nothing was entising them! Fished from lighthouse to grassy drifting and trolling. Water was pretty rough this morning with 3-4ft swells and water temp was 74*F.

Fished Saturday at the markers for a couple hours, couldn't get my trolling motor to work the battery on the foot control I believed died. Only caught perch nothing else. Friends were telling me they have been biting well all week

Got off shift in early morning decided to go fishing for a couple hours. Marking lots of fish in the river but limited strikes. Used a pink pickerel harness and nailed a 2-3 lb pike about 80 ft back of the boat in 15 ft of water. Hoping to get back out after some sleep!
